Support Servcies
  The objectives of the following support services are:
  • to encourage Members to actively apply what they have learnt in the Louis Program Home Training Course to develop the child・s abilities, and to get involved in the community with the child so that the latter・s social skills can be improved and hence build up peer relationship; and
  • to assist people or organizations (e.g. churches) caring for families with autistic children to understand more about the latter・s needs.
Support for Parents
Louis Program World - Fellowship for Parents

The Centre has set up a fellowship for parents since 2009. The fellowship, which meets bimonthly for two hours, provides its members a chance to:

  • share their life experience;
  • share the difficulties they encounter; and
  • encourage and support one another.

We also hope to help parents to face up to life・s challenges through sharing the teachings in the Bible. Those interested may contact the Centre.

Louis Program Sharing Seminar

Besides helping parents in the nurture of their child, the Centre has, in spite of limited resources, actively worked to draw the public・s attention to the needs of families with autistic children.

We have so far reached over 10,000 people through seminars for business organizations, churches, primary schools, secondary schools and universities. We have also shared our work in various media, including newspapers, magazines, radio and television and have received encouraging feedback. We are very grateful to those who have helped to make these possible and we hope we will be able to share our work and experience more frequently and widely in the future so that more people can join forces with us.

Please contact us if you would like us to share our work with your organization.
