From Program Establishment to Centre Establishment
1995 - 1997 Established Louis Program
End of 1996 The first mother with an autistic child came to learn this program
1996 - 1997 Refined and organized the teaching materials
April 1998 The Social Welfare Department of Hong Kong and Yuk Chi Centre in Tuen Mun cooperated to organize the first Louis Program Seminar and Workshop in the Tuen Mun City Hall .
Jan 2002 Established Louis Program Training Centre in Hong Kong
June 2002 Officially recognized as an Non-Profit Making Organization (NGO) by the Hong Kong Government

Effectiveness of Program
Thousand of families have had direct contact with Louis Program and have received great support and encouragement . The Louis Program long-distance support program has shown obvious results where the children are cooperating with parents after several weeks and are happy to receive training . Families who have had indirect contact are not included. All families who have committed to conducting this program at home have witnessed the obvious improvements in their children and each of the families is happier everyday .
